Over the weekend, Farah Khan, filmmaker and choreographer, delighted fans by sharing a heartwarming moment from earlier in the week. The scene unfolds with Ed Sheeran, clad in a simple white T-shirt, strumming his guitar and serenading with his hit track “Perfect”. Seated beside him, Shah Rukh Khan, donning a printed white shirt, listens attentively, silently admiring the performance.

The intimate setting suggests a cosy atmosphere, possibly at Torii Mumbai, the upscale Bandra restaurant owned by Shah Rukh’s wife and interior designer, Gauri Khan. Earlier in the week, Farah, along with Shah Rukh and Gauri, had the pleasure of hosting Ed at the restaurant, creating cherished memories and capturing snapshots together.

Farah Khan, in a caption that has since been deleted, playfully compared two concerts, hinting at her favourite. She shared a mashup of two videos: one capturing Ed Sheeran’s private performance for her and Shah Rukh Khan, and the other showcasing his public concert at Mahalaxmi Race Course. In the latter, Ed sings the same track while the audience illuminates the venue with smartphone lights.

Additionally, Farah posted a snapshot of actress Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr. Sriram Nene, from the concert, amusingly noting that the couple knew all the lyrics to Ed’s songs. Interestingly, Madhuri had previously sung “Perfect” as part of the #IForIndia event during the pandemic in 2020.
